Bill Van Antwerpen Graduate Fellowship
Former IUB Chancellor Ken Gros Louis established an endowment for a graduate fellowship to honor Bill Van Antwerpen, his former intern. This fellowship is for a graduate student enrolled at Indiana University, Bloomington who completed their undergraduate studies at Calvin University, located in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Preference will be given to students whose primary studies are in either English or the Higher Education and Students Affairs program.
Benefits
This is a single year award that includes a stipend of $25,000 and health insurance for one year.
The successful applicant may use the stipend funds for living expenses or any other expense related to the cost of attendance.
The award must be used for the year it is awarded.
Requirements
Preference is given to students in English or the Higher Education and Student Affairs program.
The recipient is encouraged to commit to volunteering the equivalent of one week of work for Habitat for Humanity.
